As members of the NDHA we are so excited about the direction this organization is moving and the great accomplishments we have made thus far. We also know that we still have a long way to go. The first step is to get the word out about this dynamic organization comprised of incredibly talented and dedicated people who together are making an impact and difference in their cities, communities, and throughout this country when it comes to dental hygiene and oral health care / prevention. Please come out and collaborate with us; but, don’t come alone. Bring your dental hygiene co-workers, classmates, local NDHA component members and fellow RDH’s and let them see how together we can make an even greater impact on the world. Let us continue to diligently reach out to new members as we embrace our current and old members. We need everyone to reach out and personally invite someone to join or get reacquainted with our organization as we are and will continue to develop excellent leaders in the dental hygiene profession.

NDHA President 2010-2011

The National Dental Hygienists' Association is an organization for licensed dental hygienists who have graduated from accredited dental hygiene programs and dental hygiene students who are enrolled in accredited programs. The NDHA is committed to cultivating and promoting the art and science of dental hygiene.

The NDHA is especially active in efforts to enhance access to oral healthcare for under-served communities in the United States. The NDHA aims to provide a professional foundation for minority dental hygienists and dental hygiene students.
